WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Ten years since the City of West Sacramento hosted its ‘Harmony on the River’ summer concerts, the Parks and Recreation Department will be bringing back the free monthly concert series to the Riverwalk lawn.

From May through August, on the last Thursday of the month, the City of West Sacramento and Drake’s The Barn invite community members of all ages to join them at The Barn, located at 985 Riverfront St., for live music from local and regional musicians. There will be food trucks and family activities to take part in.

The concerts will take place from 5:30pm – 9pm on 5/26, 6/30, 7/28, and 8/25. No outside food or drinks are permitted, as both will be available for purchase on site.

The schedule will run as follows: 5/26 will be The Neverland Band and Azucal. The Neverland Band plays all of your favorite rock covers from the 80’s and 90’s. Azucal performs modern radio hits, alternative & Latin rock, R&B, soulful ballads, country rock, Hawaiian reggae and music from the 70’s and 80’s.

6/30 will feature Red Voodoo and Bad Mother Nature. Red Voodoo performs with the influence of the classic hard rock bands from the 70’s and 80’s with a fresh young twist. Sensitive yet edgy lyrics. Bad Mother Nature plays all original classic rock style of rock & roll.

7/28 will feature Crossman Connection and The Cash Prophets. Crossman connection is described as “two brothers, one dream”. Crossman Connection is a power duo. The Cash Prophets are described as “The Gospel According to Johnny Cash”.

8/25 will feature Ideateam and Sol Peligro. Ideateamis described in part as “an evolving cast of Sacramento-based musicians who work collectively to refine their craft”.
